Description
It costs approximately $50,000 dollars annually to support the four to five teams that comprise LASA robotics program. The Austin Independent School District generously provides meeting space, computer resources, shop space and many tools for the LASA Robotics program. All other expenses are covered by team dues, team fundraising activities, sponsorships and donations from our individual and corporate supporters. The team must pay all other costs including but not limited to Robot Parts (one of the largest team expenses), Specialized Tools and manufacturing, Entry Fees and Travel Expenses.
